In February 2020, Seodaemoon Church has launched this English worship service for diaspora (in Greek, scattered, living away from their home countries) ministry. This ministry has its foundation from the following verses:

2020년 서대문교회가 디아스포라(헬라어, 흩어진, 고향을 떠나사는 사람들)사역을 시작했습니다. 사역의 근간이 되는 말씀은 다음과 같습니다.

Deuteronomy Chapter 31

12. Assemble the people — men, women and children, and the aliens living in your towns — so they can listen and learn to fear the LORD your God and follow carefully all the words of this law.
13. Their children, who do not know this law, must hear it and learn to fear the LORD your God as long as you live in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

신명기 31장

12. 곧 백성의 남녀와 어린이와 네 성읍 안에 거류하는 타국인을 모으고 그들에게 듣고 배우고 네 하나님 여호와를 경외하며 이 율법의 모든 말씀을 지켜 행하게 하고
13. 또 너희가 요단을 건너가서 차지할 땅에 거주할 동안에 이 말씀을 알지 못하는 그들의 자녀에게 듣고 네 하나님 여호와 경외하기를 배우게 할지니라

God clearly commanded to His people to assemble all people including foreigners in your towns so that they can fear God and obey everything in the Bible.

하나님께서는 그의 백성들에게 거주도시의 외국인을 포함한 모든 이들을 모아서 하나님을 경외하고 성경의 모든 것을 순종하게 할 것을 분명하게 명령하셨습니다.

In Seoul, Korea, there is the ever-increasing number of people from different backgrounds, multitude of nationalities. This worship service would function as the outpost to encourage Korean nationals to reach out to international citizens so that they can achieve heavenly citizenship through Jesus Christ.

대한민국 서울에는 다양한 배경과 국적의 사람들의 숫자가 계속 증가하고 있습니다. 본 영어예배는 한국인이 외국인에게 다가가 예수 그리스도를 통해 하늘나라 시민이 되도록 하는 사역의 전초기지 역할을 합니다.
